With over 80.000 visitors a year, Awakenings Festival is the largest outdoor techno festival in the world. For more than 22 years it has been the highlight of Europe’s techno calendar and enticing fans from all over the world to descend onto Amsterdam.

Celebrating the 20th edition of Awakenings Festival, we created a scalable 360 design identity combining information design with recognisable brand elements.

Awakenings is known for the signature two-day festival and indoor events all year round. Introducing even more events this year, we crafted a design system that would align the look and feel of all Awakenings events under one identity, while also streamlining the efforts in maintaining brand consistency.

The new identity can be easily applied to all Awakenings’ touch points, ranging from print and merchandise to online promotion and styling of the online platform.
